Good Morning Moffett Families,

Please see the information and updates below for the week of June 10:

School News

Best Foot Forward Awards Flag Assembly - Monday, June 10

We are thrilled to invite you to our annual BFF Awards Flag Ceremony taking place on Monday, June 10. This assembly will be a wonderful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students who have read 100 books as part of the Best Foot Forward reading program.

These dedicated readers have shown exceptional commitment and enthusiasm for reading, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments. Join us in applauding their hard work and encouraging all our students to continue their love for reading.

Meet Our New Principal - Monday, June 10

We are excited to announce an important event coming up on Monday, June 10th. Following our school Flag Assembly, we invite you to join us in the Moffett Gallery for an opportunity to meet our incoming principal, Michelle Brady.

Mrs. Brady brings a wealth of experience and a passion for education to our school community. This will be a wonderful occasion for parents and guardians to welcome her, learn about her vision for Moffett Elementary, and engage in an open dialogue about our shared goals for the upcoming school year.

We look forward to seeing you there and hope you take advantage of this opportunity to meet Moffett's new principal.

5th Grade Yard Sign and T-Shirt Pickup - Friday, June 14

Please note the flyer below for information pertaining to fifth grade yard sign and t-shirt pickup.

Track and Field Day - Monday, June 17

Please note the flyer below for information pertaining to volunteering at this year's Track and Field Day.

Pick-Up / Drop-Off / Parking Lot / Red Curb Important Information

In order to support student, staff, and family safety, we would appreciate it if parents and guardians did not park next to red curbs as it causes dangerous traffic throughout our neighborhood, inhibits the vision of other drivers, and is against the law.

That being said, please remember to not pick-up or drop-off in the front parking lot as the front lot is reserved for school buses only.

Finally, while in the back parking lot, please stay in your car and have your child enter and exit your car on the curb side of the car only. It is dangerous to have your child enter and exit the car in the middle of the parking lot.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and your dedication to the safety of our Moffett students and families.
